"THE TAMAN DAYU GOLF CLUB"

:: A master development plan for this 597-hectare site, 50 kilometers south of Surabaya in the upland country. The plan envisions a 2,000-unit residential project with a village center, a small hotel, 18 holes of golf, and necessary infrastructure. Concept plans were prepared for the land use elements as well as the roads, water and sewer systems, drainage, and other infrastructure elements.

:: The infrastructure master plan included: a water system with nine concrete reservoirs fed by deep underground wells and using booster pumps to transfer water between service levels; a sewer system that includes five wastewater pump stations and a 0.78 million gallon per day wastewater treatment plant (secondary treatment, extended aeration process); a drainage system with three large retention basins and numerous culverts; an electrical system with underground 20 KV primary distribution circuits, secondary power distribution via pad-mounted transformers, a large on-site switching station, and street and area lighting; a communication system that includes a large telephone exchange and security alarm cabling; a cable television (CATV) distribution system with satellite receiver station; and a roadway system with divided roadways and several large bridges.

:: After completing the master plan and conceptual designs, we worked with two Indonesian engineering companies on design for first phase roads, utilities, subdivisions, and site design for the Village Shops, Villas, Apartments, Water Park, and the Golf Clubhouse, as well as engineering design for water features for the Lake, and drainage and utilities for the Jack Nicklaus-designed golf course.
